Mixed Olive Crostini

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Slice bread into even pieces, about ½ inch thick.  Place on ungreased baking sheet and brush with Garcia de la Cruz EVOO.  
  2. Broil 3-4 inches from heat on LOW for 1-2 minutes until bread is warmed.  We are not looking for crispiness quite yet!  Remove from heat.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the first 6-7 ingredients.
  4. Spread olive mixture on bread and return to the broiler for 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted and the edges are lightly browned.
  5. Serve warm.

Easy Olive Oil Mediterraneo

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp Garcia de la Cruz EVOO
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 oz On The Rocks Aviation cocktail mix *I love this mix because of the floral and fruity notes.  It is made with a light juniper and citrus gin, serving up a distinctive flavor profile.  
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • Juice from ½ of a lemon, about 1 oz
  • Fresh basil leaf
  • Garcia de la Cruz Pimento Stuffed Olives as garnish

Directions

  1. Add Garcia de la Cruz EVOO and egg while to a shaker filled with ice.  Shake vigorously until the mixture is frothy and the olive oil is emulsified.
  2. Into the same shaker, pour in cocktail mix, simple syrup and lemon juice.  Shake until frothy.
  3. Strain into a glass and garnish with Garcia de la Cruz Stuffed Olives
