We are down to two remaining episodes of Disney Channel’s hit new show, Secrets Of Sulphur Springs. “No Time Like The Present” airs Friday, March 5th at 8 PM  and you cannot miss it. Seriously. If you have not been watching, click on over to DisneyNOW and binge the season so far! Every episode is carefully crafted to take viewers on a rollercoaster ride of puzzles, clues and nail-biting suspense. No other show brings such heartfelt moments, mixes them with the supernatural and then leaves you on a jaw dropping cliffhanger.

I had the opportunity to take a virtual cocoa break with actors Kelly Frye and Josh Braaten, along with some other bloggers and we had a little peek into the world of Sulphur Springs, both on screen and off. Secrets Of Sulphur Springs was filmed in Louisiana and the actors enjoyed their share of the local fare on their days off. From the food to basketball games, historical tours to scenic tours, there was no shortage of exciting new experiences. One of the biggest challenges of the show was filming during the COVID-19 pandemic where there were not ample opportunities to physically connect as a cast when not on set. Kelly recalled a particular moment in episode 8, “If I Could Turn Back Time” with actor Preston Oliver (who plays her son Griffin) where they held onto a moment after the director had called ‘cut’ to end the scene and they ended up laughing hysterically. Because you have to mix in a little fun!

• Kelly loves the twin’s shenanigans (played by Madeleine McGraw and Landon Gordon) in episode 6, “Time Warped”

• The next time Kelly has the opportunity to time travel, look for her in an alternate universe alongside Daenerys Targaryen

• For Josh’s favorite episode, check out “Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Time” for some junior high nostalgia

• On Josh’s expert recommendation, next time you are in New Orleans, try the jambalaya

Big thanks to Kelly and Josh for taking time out of their days to entertain our questions. Also to Kristin Cruz and the team at Disney Channel for helping us get cozy for this week’s episode with campfire mugs featuring The Tremont and some delicious Belgian hot cocoa bombs!
