Your favorite creepy, kooky family is back and taking America by storm in The Addams Family 2, now in theatres and On Demand! The girls and I had some āscream timeā last night with an early preview of the film to kick off Spooky Season.Ā More than a story about oddities, The Addams Family 2 looks at what it means to be a family.
In this all new movie we find Morticia and Gomez distraught that their children are growing up.Ā To resurrect their family, bond they decide to cram Wednesday, Pugsley, Uncle Fester and the crew into their haunted camper and hit the road for one last miserable family vacation. Their adventure across America takes them out of their element and into hilarious run-ins with their iconic cousin, IT, as well as many new mysterious characters. What could possibly go wrong?
With a PG rating and filled with unusual monsters, I wasnāt sure how my young girls would react. Would they be freaked out by Thing? Would they adore Lurch? Well, they absolutely LOVED it! Even amidst the macabre elements, my 3-year old was able to distinguish āgoodā characters from ābadā and was rooting for the Addamsā despite their wonderfully weird features.Ā
